37 century-old boxwood limbs
sheathed with machine-embroidered
upholstery vinyl, painted walls,
mirror-tiled floor.

Due to disease and years of neglect, these giant, old boxwoods, covered with grape ivy and honeysuckle, had to be removed. They provided the inspiration and natural materials for the construction of Preserve.
