Suspicious Science is a solar powered site installation commissioned for permanent exhibition by the Europos Parkas Open-Air Museum. The huge resin vegetables were hand-cast from clay originals (click here to learn more about the mold-making and casting process). The illuminated pieces are fitted with electric lamps which are powered by individual solar power systems consisting of a photovoltaic collection panel, voltage regulator, and storage battery. The vegetables' illumination is triggered at dusk when visitors approach the installation.
